Rental Guidelines

Renting a dumpster should be simple. Please review these guidelines before booking to help ensure a smooth delivery, safe rental period, and easy pickup.

Rental Period

Standard rentals include up to 5 days, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.

Additional rental time is $10 per day and is subject to availability.

Dumpster Options

12-Yard Dumpster

  • $200

  • Includes up to 1 ton

  • Additional weight: $50 per ton

  • Best for small cleanouts, bathroom remodels, garage cleanouts, furniture, household junk, and light construction debris

14-Yard Dumpster

  • $250

  • Includes up to 1.5 tons

  • Additional weight: $50 per ton

  • Best for home cleanouts, garage and basement cleanouts, remodeling projects, furniture, household junk, and general renovation debris

16-Yard Dumpster

  • $300

  • Includes up to 2 tons

  • Additional weight: $50 per ton

  • Best for larger home cleanouts, estate cleanouts, room renovations, furniture removal, and higher-volume cleanup projects

Loading Guidelines

All materials must remain at or below the top rails of the dumpster.

Do not allow materials to:

  • Extend above the top

  • Hang over the sides

  • Protrude from the container

  • Prevent safe transportation

Overfilled or improperly loaded dumpsters may be subject to a minimum $75 overfill or unsafe-load fee.

If the dumpster cannot be transported safely, it may remain at the property until the load is corrected.

Prohibited Materials

Do not place hazardous or prohibited materials in the dumpster.

Examples include:

  • Hazardous chemicals

  • Asbestos

  • Wet paint

  • Liquids

  • Propane tanks

  • Batteries

  • Materials prohibited by the disposal facility or applicable law

Concrete, dirt, brick, block, rock, and other extremely heavy materials are not permitted unless approved by Kelley Roll-Offs before loading.

Special Disposal Items

Some materials may result in additional disposal fees, including:

  • Tires

  • Mattresses

  • Appliances

  • Other items carrying special disposal charges

If you are unsure about an item, contact Kelley Roll-Offs before placing it in the dumpster.

Delivery & Pickup Access

Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the delivery and pickup location.

Please make sure the area is clear of:

  • Vehicles

  • Locked gates

  • Low-hanging wires

  • Low branches

  • Obstructions

  • Unsafe snow or ice conditions

If the driver cannot safely complete a scheduled delivery or pickup because of conditions within the customer’s control, a $75 dry-run or failed-trip fee may apply.

Driveway & Property Protection

Kelley Roll-Offs will use reasonable care during delivery and pickup.

Customers are responsible for choosing and approving the placement location.

Dumpsters and delivery vehicles are heavy and may affect:

  • Asphalt

  • Concrete

  • Gravel

  • Lawns

  • Landscaping

  • Underground utilities

  • Septic systems

  • Other surfaces

Please make sure the selected placement area can safely support the equipment.

Do Not Move the Dumpster

Do not move, drag, push, tow, or relocate the dumpster after delivery without prior approval from Kelley Roll-Offs.

Unauthorized movement may result in damage to the dumpster, property, or equipment.

Weight Overages

Each rental includes the weight allowance shown for the selected dumpster.

Any weight above the included allowance is charged at $50 per additional ton.

Final weight may be determined using a landfill or transfer-station scale ticket.

Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery are subject to a $75 cancellation fee.

Once Kelley Roll-Offs has dispatched for delivery or delivered the dumpster, the rental charge is non-refundable.

Rescheduling may be available depending on availability.

Before Booking

Please make sure you:

  • Choose the correct dumpster size

  • Provide an accurate delivery address

  • Make sure the placement area is accessible

  • Review prohibited materials

  • Keep materials below the top rails

  • Contact us if you are unsure whether an item is allowed
